Operation Flashpoint 2 Cinematic...
My first update in a long time - partly because I'm currently working on a very large, top secret project, which I can't talk about at the moment.

Here is a cinematic I did some work on a few months back, again for Axis Animation. My role, as before was to up-res game assets for use within the trailer.

I worked on the LAV-25 the UH60 Blackhawk and the M134 minigun.

3DCreative magazine
I've just been told that my ERA render is featured in the Galleries section of the April edition of 3DCreative magazine.

Here's a link to a pdf of the Gallery pages...

The full issue is available from 3DTotal.com - well worth a look!

Race Driver: Grid Trailer
I spotted this on GameTrailers earlier...

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/30610.html

It was a project I helped out on last September, for Axis. I was given fully textured game models and had to turn them into high quality subD meshes (exterior only), without destroying the UV mapping. Each car took around 2.5 days to up-res. I worked on the Aston Martin DBR9, Chevy Camaro, Lola T70, Mustang GTR, Nissan 350z and Silvia S15. I also did the damage for the Mustang, 350z and Skyline.

I think the finished result looks very nice, indeed.

Article on VFX World
I've just been told about about another Virtual Mechanix article on VFX World. It looks as though it draws heavily on the Softimage interview for content - but it's all good exposure.
